This poor sweater . . I have called it everything except the right name . . Tea with Bread and Butter, Tea with Toast and Jam. The correct name is Tea with Jam and Bread.
It is finished and I am so in love with it. It has not been soaked and blocked yet but the ends are woven in.
I seem to have this innate knack for being able to do exactly what the pattern says, without even knowing what I’m doing or why, and therefore, I don’t usually have problems with patterns. If I try to reason out why I’m doing something, or if I read ahead, I get totally confused but if I just take step 1, then step 2, then step 3 and don’t worry about any future steps, it always works out. This pattern is quite well written and I never had a question. Somehow, I did put the pockets on the back side the first time . . don’t ask me how that happened because I thought I had everything marked. There is a difference in the front and back so I had to rip back and I considered not including the pockets the second time but I wanted them so I did them . . on the front.
I know I shouldn’t but I may wear it before it’s soaked and blocked because winter is going to leave before I get to wear it otherwise.

Judy, It looks great. I don’t blame you for wanting to wear it sooner rather than later. We are getting very warm weather tomorrow in the 60’s here in MO, but I know that won’t last. We’ll send you in Texas a few more cold days before Spring so you can wear your newly knitted sweaters. lol

Your sweater looks lovely. Why would you need to block it when it looks so good as is?
