I did a little investigating.
The quilt is named Indigo. Apparently I made this one in or prior to 2011. There’s even a free pattern for it here.
As you can see, the blocks are quite simple. It would be a fun, controlled scrappy quilt if you chose one fabric or color to carry throughout the quilt in the same spot in all the blocks and then used scraps for other parts of the blocks, maybe with one background fabric or make it scrappy ecru or other light color.
My favorite part of the quilt is that the points don’t match up to the points in adjoining blocks so you don’t have to do all that fussing and pinning to get the points lined up.

Thanks for doing the investigating for us! I do love it and as you said it would look good even in controlled scrappy. Okay, another one for my list!!!!! Pressure Cooker
Chicken Noodle soup tonight. Her Zuppa Toscanna soup that I made last week was good. Of course I added my own touches to it and will tonight as well. Thanks again for saying which quilt that was!

I haven’t tried that recipe but I think I need to make it soon.

Turned out lovely – I can remember when you were deciding what background to use on that one!

You have a better memory than I do.

Finished is good and blue is even better, but, I’m partial to both.

I think it’s because you don’t usually use prints that the dots stuck in my mind.

Yes, why did I even buy that fabric??
