There are all kinds of things I could say about why and how it happened and I can make promises that it will never happen again but . . time will tell so all I’m going to say is this: The Loopy Legend yarn has arrived at The Loopy Ewe.
Once you buy enough yarn, you’re a Loopy Legend . . for the rest of the year. And, you get to send in your favorite picture and yarn gets made to match.
This is the picture I sent to Sheri. It’s boiled crawfish! We LOVE boiled crawfish!
My Loopy Legend yarn is “Judy’s Boiled Crawfish“.
I think you should all hop over to The Loopy Ewe and grab yourself a skein of Judy’s Boiled Crawfish yarn and make something beautiful! I love orange (but I also love green and purple and red and pink and blue and yellow!).

Beautiful color combo. Wish I could knit would make me or someone something out of it. Again beautiful combo.

I wondered if that was you! It’s the first one that caught my eye today when looking at the new legends. My favorite color is orange. Now, I’ll have to order one!
Gwen says
I’m not a fan of crawfish to eat, but that yarn color is the yummiest thing I ever saw about a crawfish! Makes me want to knit something orange for sure!
Judy D in WA says
Wow, that is pretty, pretty. Can’t wait for mine to get here. I HAD to have it. 😉
Sue in Scottsdale, AZ says
That yarn color is fantastic. Too bad I don’t knit (or crochet) any more. Now if I could find some fabric in that color and make a quilt we’d be talking!
Eve in GA says
Sheesh! I didn’t do ANY yarn shopping for Black Friday or Cyber Monday. But, I DID buy myself a skein of this!!! Love it!! Love orange!! Great picture/yarn/color choices, Judy!! Eve

I LOVE the color of that yarn!! Good photo choice.
Amy (Waunaknit) says
I was looking at the Loopy Legends page to see if anything jumped out at me. I saw the Judy’s Crawfish but thought your yarn choice had purple and green from a quilt you had made. I guess that was LAST year’s yarn.

Beautiful colors. Makes me wish I was a knitter. 🙂

That is a very scrumptious color! They do a great job in dying these skeins to match the colors in the photos. And what a clever idea!
pdudgeon says
WOW! iLOVE that yarn!
Erin says
???????????? love that color!!! I will definitely purchase this as I have grandchildren that have favorited this color too!!!
Linda Steller says
Again? Don’t I have some purple, green and white from the last time you achieved Legend status? 😉 I love this one too, Judy. Really pretty.
Dar in MO says
Very pretty color. My question to you is, have you made a project with last year’s Judy’s Legend color. I bought some of yours and Denise’s, but don’t know what to make with it. Any suggestions besides socks??
Denise Russart says
Now since there is a “pizza song,” is there a “crawfish song?” I really think there should be an eatin crawfish and knitting crawfish song or maybe just a crawfish who knits. 🙂 I’m thinking about getting some other color to go with it and weaving a scarf on the loom with it – I do have an orange coat.
pdudgeon says
yup i did it! i succumed to the lure of crawfish–yarn, that is! placed an order for the crawfish, and then when i almost wasn’t looking the December bsutiful yarn selection also hopped into my cart. When they offered a free pattern for a cowl i was a gonner!
Now i’m officially a Loopy person, LOL. thanks Judy!
Rebecca in SoCal says
Well, that was a curious title, but now I see!
As Gwen’s opposite, I’d just as soon have the crawfish, thank you! 🙂
Terri says
What a gorgeous color! I love it! So you’re kind of a bad influence….. I have no idea at all how to knit. And work is so busy I’ve really got no time to learn. BUT what did I just do???? Popped right on over there and ordered not ONE but TWO skeins of it! Shame on you 🙂
Now back to your most recent post and to Ravelry to find a very beginner pattern for a scarf lol.
