Vince had help today working on the greenhouse. They put in a full day . . started about 8 a.m. and ended the day about 5:30 p.m. These are some very tired guys and I am so thankful for their hard work today. They got way more done than I thought they would . . but I had no idea how long it would take.
They even have our name stamped on all the pieces. I thought that was kinda funny.
Vince had to take time out from his work to give Rita a belly rub. She has had the hardest time being inside, knowing Vince was so close but yet so far away. She is going to be one happy dog to get to sit with him for a while tonight.
They think they can finish up tomorrow with about 4 hours work. There will still be vents and fans to install, the water, electricity and gas have to be hooked up and all the things that go along with that – lights, switches, faucets, and such. Shelves have to be built and I’m sure there are other things Vince wants to get done inside but getting it this far is a great first step. I’m a happy gardener! 🙂

I think this will be your favorite room ! Looks really nice and I am sure it’s going to save you lots of money as well as being able to have tomatoes in January 🙂 Nice work Vince !! Rita was lucky to find you. I’m happy for you and I imagine it will be easier to keep the hoppers and rattlers out of the enclosed space. That is a real good thing to.

That is one SNAZZY greenhouse!! You’ll just have all kinds of stuff started and growing in there! And it’s really funny looking at little bitty Rita and big ole Vince!! Mutt and Jeff! (Yikes, think that’s dating myself!).
