The lost chicken has been found so . . we have one more chicken than we thought we had last night but one less than we had yesterday morning. The dead one is gone for good but I’m so happy the little chicken was just hiding out in the shop. When Vince went over there this morning, she was right next to the tub with the other chickens.
The one that was missing was the only one who seems to have the sebright for her mom. This is the sebright and the new chicken has enough of this same coloring to make her unique.
Not sure who’s the daddy but that’s pretty much how it is with all the bantam babies.
So, I’m glad she’s found. Not that we needed any more chickens, but I always hate wondering what happened to one and hoping she’s not hurt, injured or scared.

Thank goodness. With this cold front coming in you didn’t a little chick wandering in the cold.

Who’s Your Daddy? She’s really a pretty one! Even if there isn’t a chicken DNA test in her future.
