This was the week I had been waiting for! First, Addie’s Carabe was finished and it took a little over 3 skeins.
Then I finished Nicole’s Blue Sand Cardi. I’m not sure where I got off track but but I used 15 skeins of yarn and I should have used only 13. My gauge was correct. The measurements for the finished cardigan all are right. When I bought the yarn, it was discontinued and on sale. I bought all the brown that The Loopy Ewe had so I was kinda in a panic but I found some more at Jimmy Beans. Then I realized I was going to run short on the green and orange. The Loopy Ewe had one of each and I knew that would be enough to get me through but Jimmy Beans had one of each too so I got all of it. Now I think I’ll have enough to make Addie a sweater using the same yarns.
And, I made Addie’s little pumpkin hat which used 1 skein of yarn! That’s a total of 19 skeins of yarn. Of course, most of it was due to finishing the Blue Sand that was started months ago.
Used this week: 19 skeins
Used since 1/1/2014: 77 skeins
Added this week: 0 skeins
Added since 1/1/21014: 282 skeins
Net Used since 1/1/2014: (I can’t get red color to work so the little brackets mean negative! You all know I’ve bought way more than I’ve used!)

well, I can’t link, but 31 more skeins followed me home today. Some fingering, some DK, some worsted.
It’s a sickness, I tell ya!!! LOL!!

Spent a week in Colorado visiting our daughter and her family – managed a visit to The Loopy Ewe and came away with several skeins of yarn. On top of that – found a wonderful yarn shop in Evergreen where my daughter lives and paid a couple visits there to add more yarn to the stash! It is definitely an illness! But a fun one.
