You know that I love almost everything I knit. I have a tendency to think everyone should love the things I love and that’s how I feel about Blue Sand Cardigan. I love this sweater, but it is for Nicole.
This sweater was started in February and kept getting put aside for other projects. I have the hardest time picking up and re-starting projects once they’ve been sitting, but I wanted to get this finished. I picked it up Wednesday evening and the right sleeve hadn’t been started and the left sleeve was done except for the ribbing. By last night I had finished the sweater! I love it so much . . did I say that already?
This sweater has texture:
I love the little stripe of color between the body and the button band.
The striped inside of the pockets will show as the pockets are meant to flare open a little.
The I-cord bind off makes a great finish.
I cannot wait to make one for myself.

Love seeing all the finishes! Keep it up girl. Before you know it you won’t have any yarn left!
HA!

Way to get those WIPs finished! I’m pretty sure BlueSand will be my next sweater, once I finish Heathered and aside from Carol’s KAL cardigan.

Oh my goodness! I can’t believe how quickly you finish even big projects. I have a sweater I started some time ago in the top of my closet. I think I’ll get it out. It’s the February Lady Sweater, top down, no seams. I’m going to see if I can finish it. You’ve inspired me.
