Just finished the second sleeve. You probably think I say this about every sweater I make but I LOVE this one!
All I have left to do is add a little ribbing to finish off the neck. I’ve already woven in the ends! It’s kinda boxy but not terribly big or loose. It’s the kind of pullover I can wear over anything . . add a pretty scarf and be dressed up or add a chunky necklace and be dressed down. I love that the sleeves are a bit long! I made mine 1″ shorter than the pattern suggested and almost made them 2″ shorter but decided, since we don’t have a lot of cold weather where you break out the gloves, I can just pull these cuffs down to the middle of my hand or I can turn back the cuff if I want the sleeve to be a bit shorter.
I love the way the yarn just barely did a bit of pooling but it isn’t dramatic. I was using three skeins til I got down to the bottom ribbing.
Pattern: On the Grass
Yarn: Malabrigo Rios
Color: Purpuras

Love the sweater. I think that one’s in my queue. Got a box of fun today – I couldn’t resist the Julie Spins Silky.

Oh so pretty! I love the little bit of pooling swirl on the front – Texas sunset knit into your sweater! 🙂

Judy ~ I think “On the Grass” is one of the best or most beautiful sweater that you have knit! I, also can just see that the color(s) will be wonderful on you!
As to restaurant menu, you certainly gave me something to think about re: such a short menu that probably everything should be so special. I’ve decided that there should be something or one plate that you or I would cook. That is at least one comfort or regular type offering so there would be something for everyone! I’ll be thinking of you next wk & am sending you best wishes for a successful surgery & speedy recovery w/ lots of knitting!
