Dill Pickles and Popsicles

You’ve all heard about Sarah, my friend since first grade. Feeling bad brought back a memory. About 20 something years ago, I had the same thing I have now . . sore throat . . felt really bad. Sometime during the middle of the night, Sarah called to check on me and I told her how my throat was killing me. She said “You need a dill pickle and a popsicle!” Really? I didn’t have either in my house. About half an hour later, still in the middle of the night, there was a knock on my door and it was Sarah, with dill pickles and popsicles. Good friends aren’t always easy to find and keep for a lifetime. I just texted her and asked her if she would bring me pickles and popsicles. She’s only about 10 hours from here . . let’s see if she’s really a good friend!  🙂

Speaking of weird concoctions . . did you know that putting Cool Whip in your hair does amazing things? Nicole told me this and I happened to have a big container of Cool Whip in the fridge. This is from when I was bringing dessert to a friend’s house and then I had kidney stones.

So, Nicole told me to rub the Cool Whip into my hair, leave it half an hour, rinse it out, shampoo as normal. It really left my hair full of body and feeling good . . and no one has worse hair than I have.
