This the block we’ll be making and for July, we will make six of them. OK .. stop moaning! 🙂
As with the previous blocks, these will be 12″ finished or 12-1/2″ unfinished. I meant to check it but forgot but I think this is the last time we will be using Fabric 6 so if you’re running low, don’t worry.
For each block, you will need two of the following four patch blocks (12 of each for all six blocks). The squares in these four patches need to be cut 2″. The four patches will be 3-1/2″ unfinished.

Using Fabric 1, cut 24 – 2″ x 3-1/2″ rectangles. Using 12 these pieces and the Four Patch C pieces, create 6 of these.
From Fabrics 3 and 6, cut 12 – 2″ squares. Sew those to the ends of the remaining 2″ x 3-1/2″ rectangles as shown below. Make 12.
Sew these units to the top and bottom of the previous units. Make 6.
Sew the remaining Fabric 1 3-1/2″ x 6-1/2″ rectangles to the left and right sides of these units. Make 6.
Sew the Four Patch A/B with the rectangles (made previously) to the top and bottom to complete the block. Make 6.
If your January through June blocks are done, please share a picture. On Saturday, July 5, I will draw for the winner . . who will receive a Stash Pack from Vicki Welsh’s Etsy Shop. When you need (or want) hand dyed fabric, please remember Vicki . . who sponsors this Mystery.
