Notice Anything New?

Sara has once again worked her magic and I think/hope/fingers crossed . . that everything is working much better.  Yesterday I found some settings on the ads that I believe stopped the fly out and expanding ads. The only thing that I think still expands may be the top ad.

I’m just sticking a photo in here to see how the pictures look larger.

It’s been almost a year since Boots arrived. It was July 27. He’s changed so much . . and so have we!

OK  . . explore the new layout and let me know what you think.  One of the things I like the most is the font on the comments! I’m so happy with it all and hope you all are too!

    • Don’t include me on that! I didn’t do anything. I’ll just do my best to keep from screwing it up and having to have Sara fix it again.

  9. Very different. I need to check in a different browser, because some buttons are broken on firefox. (Yep, worked okay on Opera.) The site expands and contracts as I move the box, and I like that.

    • AND… I just discovered the top ad can be closed! Whoopie!!!!

  13. Wow! Everything I could/did(?) ask for! On my tablet, the header scrolls up, I am able expand the text (and pictures…Hi, Boots! you funny kitty), and this font is clear as anything. I’ll bet it’s nice on the phone, too.

  14. I like the larger everything. I did not have much trouble with the ads and I still don’t. I DID have trouble with FIREFOX so I made Chrome my “go to” for most of the on line reading and it solved many of my problems. Now all I have to do is give up my Yahoo mail and get an iPhone and I will have joined the 21st century.

  16. Looking good. One tiny thing to fix is the widget for “making things”. The two links are on the same line – just need to move the laundry soap to a new lkne. I noticed it because I was reading all the comments and it was there!

  17. I never bothered to complain about the little things that were annoying about the last blog setup, but this is beautiful and seems to have fixed those little things. Lovely, nice job!

  20. Like it, new, very modern, however it will take some getting use to as I liked the “old” site too. Pictures are great of Boots. You’re on the cutting edge, Judy.

  28. I’m glad the header is back to scrolling up when the content scrolls. When the header was stable, I couldn’t see much of the actual blog content at one time. Love the new colors and font. The ads don’t seem to be as intrusive. Nice job!

  29. At first sight – I love the new look. Everything seems to be very easy to find. It’s bright and easy to read. Thanks for all the thought, effort and of course money you put in to making this a terrific blog. But especially thank you for all of the inspiration you share.

  33. the new phone format has been wonderful since sara fixed it to reduce the ad and have the banner move out of the main screen. SO much easier to read and write. now with the bigger pics it’s even better. i’m always at a disadvantage to see pics on my phone but this has really halped. thanx for all you do, it starts my mornings off catching up on the fun you have.

  34. PERFECT!!!! couldn’t ask for anything better! I like to that the ads can be X out. I mean if I’ve seen it already, do I need to read it again even? BUT they do pay the bills and I respect that. Lord knows you won’t be emailing us daily w your life! 🙂
