Having all those quarts of gumbo sitting in the pantry got the best of me and I had to taste it. I had been busy all day and hadn’t had much time to cook so I knew I was going to be opening a jar of something so . . why not the gumbo that had been calling my name?
There was leftover rice in the fridge so all I had to do was heat that up, heat the gumbo up . .
A layered salad had been made early that morning . . it was the perfect quick and easy meal. I love having jars of ready to heat and eat food!

It is great to have canned meals to heat up. Yesterday, I just had to try one of the jars of chicken caccaitore. It was delicious. I;ll have to try some gumbo.
