Vince definitely has a rough side but he also has a tender side . . especially when it comes to little animals!
The other day we stopped to get gas and there was this scrawny cat walking through the parking lot.
He was looking for food.
Vince went in the store, bought a can of cat food.
Found the cat and fed him!
The guy in the store said lots of people come in and buy cat food for that cat. The guy also offered to catch the cat for Vince if Vince would bring a trap. No thanks! It was about this time last year that a little kitty showed up at our house!
The little kitty was sweet and loving but kittens can be little terrors!
Boots is pretty much all grown up now and we love him but we don’t want another one!
The cat at the convenience store was not very friendly . . he’s probably had a rough life so far, but maybe someone will come along who will rescue him. Til then, he seem to be getting enough to eat and there was a bowl of water out there for him. I guess there aren’t too many critters in town plus I think that store/gas station is open 24/7 so hopefully he will be safe there.

great story. I would have done the same. evidently the cat knows where to get fed but someone should take him home.

I was wondering about Boots. It’s been awhile since you’ve mentioned him. I too would have fed the cat.
