A few weeks ago, I received an email from a very nice lady with Oxford & Wells asking me if I would try their spray starch.

I’ve tried it and I like it! Here are my impressions and thoughts:
- It is unscented. That’s good . . especially for people who have problems with scents.
- It’s a medium weight starch . . not too heavy and just enough to give fabric body.
- It comes in a 12 oz. size, as well as a travel size.
- Best of all — it doesn’t leave spots or specks on dark fabric.

The above fabric is almost black with gray shading. I sprayed it more heavily that I would normally spray it, just so I could see if there would be any speckling or flecks left by the starch.

That’s great to know! Does it leave marks on the iron at all or did u rub it into the fabric first? I am looking for new starch!

Yes Judy, thank you. I use everyday starch for shirts, but need something better for some quilt fabrics. Thank heavens for Amazon . ..
