Every spare minute for the next few weeks, maybe months, is going to be spent knitting. Hope my hands can hold out! I did order another pair of “stress relief gloves”. I have one pair and they seem to help but the fingers are kind along and interfere with my knitting a bit.
Projects that have to be done and finished . . in this order:
1. A sideways knitted shell as a test knit for Laura Aylor. It’s so cute and it looks quick to knit. We should get the pattern on or about the the 27th and will have 3 to 4 weeks to get that done. It uses three colors of yarn and since I’m working from stash yarn, so I have a couple of possibilities. I’ll get some pictures of those yarns later today.
2. Camp Loopy. That can be started on June 1 and must be finished by the end of June. I think that should be easy enough since it’s worsted weight yarn. The pattern is Lady Kina.
This is the yarn.
3. Project #3, and I’m pretty excited about this one, is a KAL through the String Theory Ravelry Group. They’re knitting Milou and the KAL will start June 1 and run through July 31. Milou was already in my “Favorites” and I have just enough String Theory Caper Sock yarn, one of the recommended yarns, from a project I started and didn’t like so I’m going to use that.
4. The final project is the one I’m currently working on. It’s Vitamin D that I’m making from my friend’s llama/silk yarn.
That’s a whole lot of knitting to get done. I think Lady Kina, and Laura’s test knit both have a lot of mindless stockinette knitting so having a “daytime when I’m alone and can think” project and a nighttime “knitting while chatting” project should work out pretty good for me.

Oh my, you DO have a lot of projects to complete. Milou will be gorgeous in that colorway. Good luck on getting them all done!

Sorry, llama yarn reminds me of intestines . . . It will be beautiful when finished.

I LOVE that Lady Kina pattern and want to make it also, but what’s making me hesitate is the French sizing. Do you have that figured out?

I have my yarn for the Camp Loopy and can’t wait to start on a shawl in neutral merino and alpaca. I’m excited because I plan on watching my inspiration movie, Belizaire the Cajun during the knit. All this happens if I can just finish my sleeve cuff for MadMay challenge this week. It has taken me longer to knit that stupid cuff than to knit the entire sweater. I just keep messing up the pattern and have to rip out and do over. (and over and over)

I do love that Milou pattern! And I have a couple of knits in progress, but my big “hump to get over” is about five quilts in various stages — and I’m considering the Allegiance QOV Mystery quilt designed by Vicki Welsh and shown on Alycia’s blog!

I printed the pattern for the Lady Kina and hope to knit it this summer. Someone above said they hesitated because of the French sizing. When I printed it, the only thing French about it was the cm vs inches and that is an easy change over.
NOW … if my hands will co-operate! I had surgery on each wrist less than 2 weeks ago. I know knitting is out for now!
