These are the possible yarn combinations . . as of this minute. I may come up with more.

The colors don’t need to match . . they can be anything. The stripes are vertical. Laura used a lime green, a cream and a smoky gray. Yesterday I was thinking about #6. This morning I liked #4 and right now, I’m liking #9.

What do you think? Which one would you choose if it was yours?

  4. 5, 6 or 8 would be my choices – they’re very similar in color and I really like the periwnkle, pinkish and sage looking color combos. I may be WAY off on the sage but, it looks greyish green to me, LOL.

  6. My choices would be 1, 5 and 8 in that order. Not sure why they just speak to me.

  11. 5, 6 or 8 would be the ones that I would lean to but they’re colors that would look best on me. But, gee, you’re not making it for me. Are you? 😉

  16. Too hard to choose as they are all pretty! I will be anxious to see what you pick. What is the Sun Rose pattern? I’ve been gone and am very behind in my blog reading.

  21. If I were making it for me – it would be #2. But they are all pretty combinations and after looking at the design – all would look equally lovely in it I think. That settles it – you must make one in each color combination! 🙂

  22. oh yum! Love all the colors! BUT my favorite is #5 – purple (lavender?), pale gray and pink! Love that combination!

  23. I’d have to go with #1 since you asked …. pink is always a winner in my book, and I *love* using varying shades of one color for just about anything …. Can’t wait to see what you settle on!

  27. I like # 8, But I’m sure they will all be pretty when done,I just like color and I think with your beautiful complection the pastel will look good.

  28. 1, 5 and 6–must be in a pastel mood. I actually like all the combinations except #9: it is too drab for me.

  29. If I were making it color-blocked like the picture on the Ravelry discussion board, I would choose either 5 or 8. However, if I were making a striped version, I would choose either 3 or 4, because the darker color in those combos would make the brighter color pop.

  31. Purple, Green and Orange have been a favorite of mine for the past few years, so #2 would be the selection of choice.
    But replacing the purple with the darker grey/black in #4….yummy.
    AND… going neutrals in #9—also amazing!
    Yah…good luck with your choice! LOL.

  32. I like #5 myself but #1 and 9 are good too. SO now for your decision. I bet it is pretty which ever one you pick out. Can’t wait to see it.

  39. Number 5 just danced for me! I also like 2 and 1, but 1 could be used for something not so much striped as ombre…

  41. I like #4 and #8 best, although they are all pretty. I guess it would depend on if it were for me or someone else and which colors go with what I wear the most. I’m all for getting mileage out of the things that take a long time to make and in my case, that might be a year!! 🙂
