We’re guessing Boots is about a year old now. He’s still the sweetest little kitty ever. He’s so loving and he purrs non-stop. All we have to do is look at him and he purrs. He’s getting better about letting me knit around him. Yesterday I picked up my knitting and told Vince I was going to knit with Boots. Vince asked how long I would be over there and I told him . . it all depends on Boots. Sometimes this works and sometimes it doesn’t.
It’s almost impossible to get a picture of him doing what I want to capture because the minute he hears the camera turn on, he took at the camera . . he loves the strap. It wiggles!

I don’t blame Boots. All that wiggly, jiggly yarn is too much temptation for a kitty.

He’s happy to sleep right beside me. I keep the yarn either behind my back or on whichever side Boots is NOT but eventually, the temptation overtakes him and he grabs it and once that happens, its’ time to get the laser light out, play til he’s exhausted and then, he’s ready to climb up in his favorite window spot and watch me from afar.

Once he moves up to the window, I think that’s his signal that he’s had enough of me being in the sewing room. Most of the time, he stays up there til I leave.

It’s good that you and Boots have finally figured out a system to get along and you can work, too. i guess actually, Boots has finally allowed you to work. hahahaha

Judy I thought of you and Boots just yesterday, I was on my way to a friends and turned to go to the animal shelter and got a sweet little girl for the Scraphaus, and her name is Scrappy Girl. she is so little she stays in my arm while we bond, she purrs loud too and kisses my nose, only 2 days and she is imprinting my heart!

I love seeing and hearing about Boots too. I wish my kitty would sit quietly beside me when I knit, but not going to happen. She will sit on my lap and sleep when I’m watching TV though.
