The little rooster sitting on the top roost has been practicing crowing for about two weeks now. I surely hope he gets better. We’ve never had a rooster crow so young. The ones that hatched in mid-December are just now starting to crow. Screech hatched on about April 2 and was barely a month old when I first heard him trying to crow. Bless his heart . . he puts so much effort into it and all he can eek out is a little screech . . you’ll see where he got his name when you hear him crow.
He probably wonders why the two old folks spend so much time standing at the door laughing. He’s such a cute little guy.
