I’m busy knitting another test knit for Laura Aylor. This one is called Sun Rose and I’ll let you know when the pattern is available. It’s a basic casual pullover called Sun Rose. I’m real comfortable with Laura’s patterns so I think it’s quite easy. The yarn is Madelinetosh DK, color Night Bloom.
This is the yarn for Camp Loopy Project 1. It’s Malabrigo Rios, color is Teal Feather. The picture doesn’t do it justice but it is a gorgeous color.
The Camp Loopy project can’t begin til June 1 and I’m hoping to finish Laura’s test project by the end of this weekend so I’ll have a little time to spare and I plan to knit a project for a friend using yarn from her llamas.
Another photo that’s washed out by the lights but it’s too cloudy and windy to get a good picture outside. The yarn is 90% llama fiber and 10% colored silk waste. You can’t see the color in the photo but it’s very pretty. I’ll get a better picture. My friend’s website is Asgaard Lamas and she has info about the lama products (socks, yarn, roving) there. I’ll do another blog post about how I met her and more info about her llamas when I get started on this project.
Lots of knitting . . not enough time . . but isn’t that the same story for all of us . . too much to do and not enough time to get it all done!
