The new chicken coop is progressing. We have help here today.
I hope the chickens love their new home!
The next door neighbor chickens are watching with interest. I’m wondering if they’re anxious to see who their new neighbors will be.
The above picture gives a better view of the distance between the two coops. There’s also a fence between them.
Not sure how much progress they’re hoping to make today and I’m not about to ask . . except for taking ice water out to them, I’m staying away from the construction site.
Cathy says
Have you any signs of baby chicks hatching yet?
Vivian Oaks says
It’s soooo nice when help shows up! And you’re smart to stay away. Otherwise, they might try to put you to work!!

I got to thinking about the turkey that hatched. What is its purpose? Do you eat turkey eggs, will it be raised to be eaten or will it be a pet?
That is one impressively engineered coop!
Patty says
Man those must be some expensive eggs!
Diana in RR, TX says
Looks great! Where are you going to put your baby turkeys?
AmyM says
wow… you have lucky chickens… that is going to be a great coop. Look forward to reading more!
