Tis the season for baby birds! The wrens are hatching in the potting soil bag.
Not sure if you can see it (I don’t even think I can see it!) but the eggs are starting to hatch. Such tiny little eggs. Won’t be long and they’ll all be gone!
There are so many birds here and they sing such beautiful songs. We sleep with the windows open and each morning the birds begin singing just before daylight. They often wake me up before the alarm goes off. My first inclination is to put the pillow over my head and wish they would go away so I could sleep a few minutes longer but then I smile . . thinking of the little birds, how they survive, how they take care of their babies . . and I want to jump out of bed, thank God for another day . . for my health and for all the blessings in my life.
I’m happy the birds are waking me up early . . there are too many things to get done each day and there’s no time to be wasted sleeping in a few extra minutes. I need to be up with the birds! 🙂

Nice that you can sleep with the windows open already. It snowed here yesterday, and was 24 degrees this morning when I got up!! We have lots of birds, too, because we live in the woods, and I love watching them and listening to them. Enjoy your day!

We sleep with the windows open even when the temps are down in the 20’s but we have lots of quilts on the bed. Vince thinks it’s terrible but I love it.

What a cheery, positive thought! Do you notice them even after it is beginning to get dark? They have busy lives too.

We have a dove that sits on our chimney evey morning and coos. I want to shoot him because he does it too early. The other birds are soothing but that darn dove drives me crazy. I’ll send him your way…

When I saw the title of this post, I thought you had another type of egg in your incubator! 😀

My thoughts exactly!

Oh, Judy when I saw the header for this post my first thought was OH NO she going to try to help the beds and put the eggs in the incubator. (lol) Maybe I shouldn’t give you any ideas. I love your posts!!!
Donna says
Sorry that was supposed to be birds not beds

Loved your post today Judy! So full of the joy of life 🙂 I sometimes think God created the birds to lift our spirits with their joyous songs, and to remind us that it really takes very little in life to be happy and successful!
