I think I could live in a hotel. I would keep my house and sewing room for storage but I would stay in the hotel where someone else vacuumed and made the bed and cleaned the toilet and I could turn the air conditioner down so I could sleep under lots of quilts and stay cool.
I didn’t knit on Nicole’s sweater while at their house because it required counting and paying attention so that’s what I worked on in the hotel last night. The above photo is what it looked like when I started.
Below is what it looked like when I put it away for the night.
It may not look like much but the sleeves are split off and the third color has been added.
Here’s why I guess I shouldn’t live in a hotel . . besides the fact that I know Vince would say it costs too much money! 🙂 First, I didn’t have any scissors with me. I didn’t bring everything in from the car and I was too chicken to go out to the parking lot at midnight so I had to use fingernail clippers from my makeup bag to cut the yarn. And, I didn’t have a big needle or a crochet hook in the room so I had to use tweezers to feed the waste yarn through the sleeve stitches. Everything I need on a routine basis would not fit in a hotel room I suppose.
This is the Blue Sand Cardigan and I think it’s going to be really pretty!

Judy your little Addie is so sweet! I can understand why it is hard to leave your kids after a visit. We live in a state we would love to get out of, but we now have two brand new grand babies and couldn’t possibly leave them. Your knitting projects are just so beautiful, wish I had your talent and energy:) Best wishes to you.

Hi Judy, You have a great start on the sweater! I can’t believe how many you’ve done already this year. Have you seen The Knit Kit? It’s wonderful and has all the tools you need in a pinch. It looks like they are out of them at Amazon but here’s the link anyhow:http://www.amazon.com/The-Knit-Kit-Essential-Knitting/dp/B006U33LC0
