What fun it is going to the park with a little one! First stop was the swing. She liked it a lot but it wasn’t her favorite.
Next was the merry go round. It was fun but still not her favorite.
Next was the slide and yes, this was her favorite part of the park!
She loved every minute of the sliding and couldn’t wait to hop off, climb the stairs and do it again.
She could have stayed there all day!
All good things must come to an end. It was time to go and she was not happy!
Honey Bun, I know exactly how you feel! My time in MO is about to end and it’s soon to be time to head back to Texas. It will be nice to be home but I will surely miss these three lovely folks! And, yes, I will cry half the way home. Heck, I’m about to cry just writing this blog post and I haven’t even left yet! 🙁

I remember the tears. It never seems to get easier.
Addie just seems to get cuter and cuter.

Addie is such a pretty little thing! I live 2,650 miles from my daughters and granddaughter and I miss them every single day, so I understand your tears.

LOVE that picture with her skirt flying and the big smile. That picture is priceless.

I’m sorry to have to leave them again. 🙁 But looks like you’ve packed a lot into your time there.

Look at those curls! I know she’s going to miss her Grandma and also know you’re going to carry lots of precious moments home to carry you through till the next visit.

Before you leave hand that camera to Chad for a Grandma and Addie Pic! She’s adorable! I love her curls too. Did Chad have curls?

I so know how you feel…..We’ve been half way across the country to all the way across the country from our son/daughter-in-law/grandkids.
I grew up with my grandparents only an hour away and I hoped that when we had grandkids, we’d have the same experiences as our childhoods.
Unfortunately in this day and age, there are a lot of us in the same boat. We (as parents/grandparents, as well as our kids) have to go where the job(s) are.

Aw, planning needs to begin to get WalMart to transfer Chad closer to you and Vince. You do have one near you, don’t you? That would be so nice. Addie is such a little cutie.
Mary Jo says
Addie is such a cutie. Maybe she will fit in your suitcase and you can take her home with you before they notice! I know that you would love to!
Donna F says
She’s so beautiful I don’t blame you for crying! I miss my grandson since I’ve moved to Texas and just last week I found out I’m having a granddaughter this fall so I really know what you’re going through. Get as much kisses as you can now.

I can relate. Addie is an adorable little girl. And if you are anything like me, you’ll start to miss her the minute you leave. You’ll be counting the days until you get to see her again.

The photo of Addie going down the slide where the air has filled her skirt is the cutest photo ever! Little Miss Addie is such a cutie-pie! She’s sure growing up… I’m glad you got to have a visit. I’m sorry you have to go home so soon, though!
Hugs!
