After several days of sitting on the counter, being watered religiously, the sprouts have sprouted.
The Mung Bean sprouts are so pretty . . as well as delicious!
I encourage you to try sprouting if you have not done so and if you think it’s something you might enjoy. Some of the sprouts are spicy, some are a bit sweet. Info can be found in this post, with links to where I buy sprouting seeds.

WE stopped at Sprouts the other day, our local “healthy” grocery store-they still sell sprouts. I was surprised but I guess they feel confident about their source.

Judy, what am I doing wrong? I made sprouts for the first time a couple weeks ago and they got all slimy and nasty smelling. I tried again last week and the same thing. The instructions on the package say to rinse morning and night and drain. I am using the sprout lid on a mason jar and “quality” sprout seeds like the ones you have… what do you think I am doing wrong?!?
