These photos were taken on Saturday, two days after the baby chicks arrived. They are so funny to watch. Sometimes they forget that I’m sitting there watching them and I say something to them and they go running in all different directions at breakneck speed.
Baby Chicks
It’s easy to spot the three that are different – they’re very light and so tiny.
Feathers
I didn’t remember how quickly they begin to get their feathers but they’re starting to grow feathers. My babies are growing up too quickly!
They’re still living in a plastic tub in the extra bathroom. On second thought . . maybe they aren’t growing up more quickly. 🙂

How did they do through shipment? Did you lose any? I am getting a few from a hatchery in April – never got any through mail order so I’m a bit anxious.
