There’s a reason why I keep buying all these patterns. It’s because other knitters keep making them and showing them on Ravelry and they’re so darned cute! So . . don’t blame me. I’m only sharing with you in the unlikely even you’re looking for something to knit! I’m not twisting your arm so . . don’t go telling your husband it’s Judy’s fault you’re knitting instead of cooking dinner. OK?
It really has been nice to have enough cold weather this winter to get to wear sweaters.
Blue Sand Cardigan – I could see myself wearing this all the time during the cool months. I didn’t order yarn for this but I did think about it.
Greenwood – This looks so casual and comfy. It always helps that the models weigh about 1/3 of what I weigh though! Everything looks good on them! I didn’t order yarn for this one either but I may have yarn I can switch from another project.
Sheep Sweater and Hat – I’m afraid I did order yarn for this one! It will be for next winter.
I‘m thinking I should sell the sewing machine, fabric and longarm and use the money to buy yarn! 🙂
– Addie needs this one too but I didn’t order yarn for it . . yet! 🙂

Well I love the first one!

The Blue Sand Cardigan looks like something I would love. It is a real shame I don’t knit (I used to crochet, but I was never very good at knitting). The two sweaters for Addie are adorable. Nicole will have to get more storage spaces to hold everything you are making for her. Addie is such a lucky little girl to have you as her grandmother.

Loved the sweaters esp. the horse, but please don’t give up quilting. You have inspired me for several years now. I love Monday and seeing what hundreds of quilters are doing, real treat. But the rest of the wk., I like seeing the knitting.

Judy– I’ve been wanting to ask a favor for a while and now seems like the perfect time! I bought some luscious yarn last March and don’t quite know what to make with it. If you are so inclined and need a reason to poke around on Ravelry, could you find a nice cowl (or scarf) that isn’t too snug and isn’t too super big. I don’t like lace. The yarn is a natural alpaca and has a bit of thin/thick texture to it. I have it in my stash on Ravelry (peruvian tweed). I’m guessing it’s a sport weight, but I’m not sure! I’m Circus Peanuts. THANKS!!!

Oh I am definitely blaming you and telling my hubby it’s your fault! LOL
Seriously, I’m pretty excited that you’ve got me motivated to do some knitting again. I’m probably only an advanced beginner who hasn’t done much knitting for the past 20 years, but the hand work is a nice break when I need to get off my feet, quilting is hard on the body!

Love that sheep sweater! My GK seem to outgrow their stuff before I sometimes even get started on their project, sigh. You would not believe my backlog of patterns….many notebooks worth and enough for several life times probably. But, as you know we always find more. LOL

Sorry girlfriend – I’m blaming it all on you! Well, you and Denise LOL!!!
That sheep sweater/hat pattern is just too darn cute! I may have to see about making that one for our littlest granddaughter. And my oldest granddaughter would have loved the horse sweater when she was little – too late now of course, she’s 18.
But the one I really love is Greenwood – thanks for bringing it to my attention. I have the perfect yarn for it in my stash too! Now let me see, where will it go in the ever-rapidly-expanding queue?…..
