Vera Sanon has the best designs! I think I could knit for about 2 years just using Vera’s designs. Vera has recently offered 11 of her top down raglan sweaters in a collection for $20. That’s a great deal even if only 4 or 5 of them suit your fancy.
Last night I finished the body part of my La Vie Douce.
The yarn is Miss Babs Yummy 3 Ply Sport and the color is Fraser. I think sport weight is my favorite yarn to work with.
La Vie Douce has lace at the raglan sleeves.
At the bottom, there are several options. One is a rounded shirttail type bottom with two different finishes. I had planned to do this and did all the wrap and turns wrong so ripped it all out and went with a straight bottom. The interesting thing is that Vera added a row of Estonian Braid before the ribbing.
See that row above the ribbing where the stitches appear to be going sideways? That’s pretty! Today I hope to get the ribbing around the neck done and maybe get started on the sleeves.

Judy! I love them all. All I need is just a little encouragement and a few dollars and there I go……

That’s a great sweater! Isn’t that Estonian braid fun? It was on a hat (pattern:Watkinc) for my GD in two colors and very fun. I love the details on your sweater.
Judy S says
Make that Watkin!
