There are few things I dislike more than cutting down trees but we have friends coming with their RV and there was no easy way to park it near the hookups. We had the guy who’s going to add more rock to the driveway out yesterday and he looked at where we’re going to improve the RV parking pad and between the trees, the septic tank and a guy wire, there was no place to park it where it would be halfway easy to get it in and out so . . down came a tree this morning.
My uncle was here last year with his RV and parking that rascal wasn’t easy so with more friends coming, we decided to make it easier.
We will have to pick up a few buckets before they get here! 🙂 The buckets are out there because that’s the deer cleaning area, but we always have buckets around. Trying to get a photo without a bucket or a water hose in it is almost impossible.
Partially down!
It will become firewood for next winter.
That should be enough to make for easy parking of the RV.

Oh, that looks nice! When I saw the first picture I was sad to think that beauty was going to go down, but you saved most of it – just removed the part that was in the way. Great! I hope you have a wonderful visit with your friends!

Such great friends!!!
I also hate cutting down trees, but this is good reason. Plus, you’ll have the firewood and you’ve still got lots of beautiful trees that get to stay up.
Happy campering for your friends!
🙂

Great, when I buy another truck, I’ll invite myself down in my fifth wheel. =)
