NOTE: Please remember that on this, as well as all other projects I do, the links do not work until the blog post is live. In Friday’s instructions (#12), I mentioned that the next instructions wouldn’t be posted until today. So, the link to #13 is not going to be working until this blog post is posted. Same with #14 . . it won’t be working until the Monday instructions are posted.
Today we will make corner triangles and sew the rows together.
For the corner triangles:
Fabric 3 – Cut 6 – 3-7/8″ squares. Cut them on the diagonal once to yield 12 squares.
Fabric 5 – Cut 4 – 3-1/2″ x 5″ rectangles.
Sew the two side triangles. Press the seams towards the Fabric 5 rectangle.
Sew the triangle to the top and press the seam allowances towards the Fabric 3 piece.
Time to sew the blocks into rows and sew the rows together. Decide which way you want to press the seams (towards the blocks with the lighter fabric or away from those) and all your block seams in each row should nest.

Thanks, Judy! I’m only on step 10, so I have some catching up to do!

I was going to cheat and sew the blocks together into rows before today, but got caught up in Christmas stuff and didn’t have time. They’ll be done tomorrow though 🙂
