I have no idea when the granite will be replaced or when the backsplash will be installed but it will be very nice when it’s all done and I can put things where I want them and not have to keep moving them so another project can be done.

how exciting! I’ve never had under cab lighting until now and boy I cannot believe how much of a difference it makes! It’s so nice. Of course he also put in five times the can lights that are normally put in and that helps also……. 🙂

The tiny kitchen has 7 can lights and it’s bright enough in there but no matter where I stand, it seems my head is blocking the light, which makes taking pictures almost impossible. The new cabinets at the end of the dining room . . the lighting in there is terrible so the under cabinet lights will be fantastic in there for sure.

Love that you manage to function with all that is going on in you home. If I ever won the lottery, I would use so many of your ideas. Big win = new home with custom kitchen, Smallish win = complete new kitchen. I dream. lol

At least you have a functional kitchen for the holidays. A friend started a kitchen re-do and lots of things got delayed. So she had only a microwave for Christmas – they ate zillions of different appetizers 🙂

Can’t wait to see it all finished! You are so right about constantly moving things during a reno. My kitchen was done nearly six years ago and some things have never resurfaced!!
