Step 1:

Fabric 5 – Cut 2 – 2″ strips.
Fabric 3 – Cut 1 – 5″ strip.

Sew a Fabric 5 strip to the top and bottom of the Fabric 3 strip. Press the seam allowances towards Fabric 3.  Cut the strip into 12 – 2″ sections.

Step 2:

Fabric 5 – Cut 1 – 2″ strip
Fabric 3 – Cut 1 – 3-1/2″ strip.

Cut both strips along the fold like so that the Fabric 5 strip is approximately 2″ x 20″ and the Fabric 3 strip is approximately 3-1/2″ x 20″.

Sew the Fabric 3 strips to the top and bottom of the fabric 1 strip.  Cut the set into 6 – 2″ sections.

Step 3:

Sew the sections together.  Make 6.

Step 4:

Fabric 5 – Cut 2 – 2″ strips.  Cut them into 12 – 2″ x 5″ rectangles. Sew the rectangles to the left and right side of the pieces just made.
