Laura Aylor’s new pattern, Rhinecliff, is ready and can be purchased here. Once again, here’s mine:
The only modification that I made to the pattern was to make 3/4 length sleeves. I did this by marking the row where I picked up the sleeve stitches.
See the blue waste yarn on the sleeve not yet done? From there, I knitted 60 rows, and did the cable on the 61st row. Otherwise, I followed the pattern exactly.
I used Miss Babs Heartland Worsted yarn, which was amazing to work with. It wasn’t splitty at all and it’s round and plump . . I could make an analogy here but won’t.
Head on over to Ravelry and grab your pattern . . I think you’ll love making this sweater.

The other picture of this gorgeous sweater you kept talking about your weight and I was surprised because you look very trim in this outfit! The jeans are a great fit and there are no bulges to be seen anywhere in your form-fitting sweater! If I looked this good, I would not let a little (a lot!) of ice keep me trapped at home! Plus, with muscles like those (!), you could take care of business if anyone said anything rude!
Beautiful work.

Nice! I love the detail at the waist, too. It’s a very pretty sweater.

I’m not at all a knitter, but when I see some of the things you post, I think perhaps I should try again. Forty years ago I tried with awful results. This sweater is beautiful and the color looks wonderful on you.
