Last night we took out the little hutch and corner cabinet and there’s a blank wall in the dining area.

The cabinets were supposed to be delivered today but we were kinda scared that it it wasn’t going to happen because we were supposed to have such horrible weather, which thankfully we didn’t have so the cabinets got delivered and will be installed tomorrow.
Also tomorrow, the granite guy comes buy to measure for the new countertops.
I’m not sure it’s possible to comprehend how happy I will to get rid of the little square tiles with the concrete grout that I cannot keep clean. I am going to be a happy cook!

Wish mine was that far along! But it will get there. the cabinet guy was here this morning to see what he had to work with as far as space. He does have a challenge. Be interesting to see what he comes up with!!!!She see some plans in about a week. Can’t wait to see pictures of your new cabinets.

My daughter has those kind of tiled countertops in the house they bought recently and hates them for the same reason you do. I’m sure your remodeled kitchen is going to be fabulous!

I totally “get” how happy you will be to get rid of those little square tiles & grout!!! We have white tiles & grout and it’s impossible to keep clean! Grrrrr. I’ve redone the grout on part of the counter, and it was a major pain (that was like 2-3 years ago…). I’m not in a hurry to do the rest (hence it’s been 2-3 years…)!!
