Don’t forget that the next Quilt Along begins on Monday.
Before we talk about quilting, Boots wanted to say hello!
He’s getting so big! He’s still so soft and cuddly and he’s still the sweetest kitty ever! This morning, I was able to sit and knit for about 15 minutes before he decided to attack the yarn and chew up the sweater. It seems that every day he gets a bit calmer and easier to be around. It’s just so hard to put him down when he wants me to sit and hold him . . can’t sew, can’t do computer work, and can’t knit while holding Boots but what’s better than holding a purring kitty?
The Quilt Along for “Fit for a Hero” begins on Monday. Details can be found by clicking on the Fit for a Hero picture in the left sidebar.
Here’s the fabric I’ll be using.
My Fabric Chart is all glued up .. which was easy since my fabrics are actually very close to the fabrics on the pictures on the chart but it really does help me to have a fabric chart for reference.

My 7 year old kitty didn’t get cuddly until he was 3 or 4 years old. Right now he is curled up in my lap with his head resting on my arm, so I’m typing with one hand. He is 13+ lbs and almost too big to be a lap cat! Boots sure is a handsome little guy. It should be easier to get things done when he outgrows the kitten stage, that is if you can resist just sitting and holding him while he sleeps. 🙂

We have a 3 mo. old male kitty that a friend and I trapped, had neutered and tamed. But my 9 yr. old female will not tolerate him. She huffs and puffs, rumbles and roars, and we are certain she will kill him if given the chance. So for now, little Jasper has to play hide ‘n seek in the bathroom, coming out only when we shut Tippie in bedroom. Can’t find anyone to adopt him so guess we’ll wait until he’s grown enough to defend himself against the 13 lb. bruiser!

Boots is a handsome tuxie. His coat looks quite heavy. Does he wear an undercoat?
