Maybe I should have called this challenge “The Procrastination Challenge” and then I would be doing so well. Nothing on my October list got done. It makes it easy for November because the list hasn’t changed except for one item. And if I wanted to tell the whole truth, this is basically the list from September! I either need to start sewing or have a giant garage sale and clean out all this sewing stuff and I don’t see that happening! I’m pretty disappointed in my sewing efforts. I could blame it on Boots but really, it’s knitting that I want to do and not so much sewing.
Here’s my November list
- Bind Red, Blue, Yellow top.
- Finish Blame Game top.
- Quilt Chad’s Road to Llano top.
- Bind Chad’s Road to Llano top.
Maybe November will be the month I get something . . anything done! I hope you’re doing better than I am.

Didn’t get any sewing or quilting done here either, but you did give me a push and I knew a pair of socks – that wasn’t on my list.
thanks

Don’t feel bad about that knitting! For 7 years, while I was caregiver to my mother, my portable knitting projects accompanied me everywhere. My mother passed away February this year, age 102 1/2, and now I am quilting non-stop. Last night I picked up a sweater to finish, and tried to remember where I was on that project, and how to knit it! Happy Crafting!

All I want to do is knit too. My poor longarm has had the same quilt top on it for months!

What if the quilting desire doesn’t come back?? I think I’ve quilted 2 quilts on the new Millennium. If I don’t start using it soon, Vince may sell it.

I can so relate. I am knitting my first sweater and every spare second I find, I put into that sweater. I really needed another time sucker hobby, but it makes me so happy.

I have been knitting a lot more lately, too. I think we just naturally swing back and forth. I’m sure the quilting bug will resume–it always has, for me!
Susan says
For now your mind is on knitting. Later it will be on quilting again. You have an eclectic brain and it needs variety. =)

I know one thing for sure you may have not been sewing but when the bug returns you will get plenty done. you are the most multitasked person I know. You are a whiz inside and out. I think we all do what feels like fun at the time. Your knitting projects are so pretty so I can understand why you are called to knit. Thanks for sharing all your talent. Dana

I didn’t do very well on my October goals either Judy, but that’s life sometimes, right? I’m just happy to finally get a post written so I could link up :*)

There’s always next year! 🙂
