This week, I have the world’s best excuses for every single purchase! You’re going to be so proud of me! 🙂
The three blueish green skeins are the Alpaca with a Twist yarn that I ordered for the Knit Along that starts November 1. If I want to do the Knit Along and I do, then I had to order the yarn. Three skeins of Baby Twist, which is DK weight and I don’t have DK weight in my stash.
There are three skeins of green and three skeins of gray that are Angel by Debbie Bliss. I could blame Denise but I won’t . . even though she told me about a website that had this yarn on sale. I’m still working on getting the perfect yarn for my Art Deco project.
The reddish in the top right . . that’s a skein of Wollmeise Pure from the Fall Giftables Club with The Loopy Ewe. I signed up for that months ago and was committed. This was the last month of that club so no more additions from that.
On the used side of this equation, I finished a bunny and I’m guessing that between the peach, orange, brown and tan yarns, I used one skein and I finished a skein on the Guernsey Wrap so that’s 2 skeins used.
Used this Week: 2 skeins
Used since mid-August: 10.75 skeins
Added this week: 10 skeins
Added since mid-August: 133 skeins
Net Used since mid-August : 122.25 skeins (Red means I’m in the hole so instead of using this much yarn, I’ve added a net of this much yarn!)
I think next week is going to be a week with zero yarn added!

Lovely yarn! The Pure looks kind of lonely though.

Don’t feel bad for it. I’ll stick it in the Wollmeise bucket, where it has lots of company! 🙂

Good. I feel much better now knowing that it won’t be alone. ;0)

OK, I finally caved. Bought the pattern for Guernsey Wrap. After reading your progress for the past month, I have fallen in love with this project – I’ve always loved the fisherman-style cables & stitches! And, lucky me, I have just the right yarn and enough yardage! Should make a lovely Christmas gift for a daughter 😀
