All day I wanted to work on my little rabbit and Vince took off at noon today to do some painting. It isn’t like it mattered if I was sitting and knitting or not while he’s painting but I would hate for him to think that I sit on my rear end and knit all day every day. We all know that isn’t true . . don’t we? 🙂
Vince Painting
So, I took a nap .. that’s way more productive than sitting and knitting, right? Maybe now I can stay up late tonight and knit.
The gutter man came out last week and gave us an estimate for putting gutters on the back side of the house. He should be back early next week to put the gutters up. All the wood on this house needs painting but we really needed to get the painting done on the areas that will be covered by gutters.
Painting
It’s really a solid stain instead of paint. I was going to paint the shutters but Vince is determined that he’s taking them down and painting them so . . that’s fine . . that gives me more knitting time!

Hard work, but worth it! Amazing what a little paint can do for a place! I need to go buy paint for our garage doors; just had one replaced and my “painter” is off fishing today. Maybe with a gallon of paint in hand and another warm day…..
