Well, it’s the top half of Bunny #1, or maybe the top third. She still needs her body, her legs and her arms.
Please excuse the toilet paper roll she’s perched upon. I still don’t know what color “stockings” and shoes she’s going to get.
The bunny is knit with 3 mm needles so as to have a very tightly woven fabric and it’s kinda hard on my hands. I want to make several colored bunnies but I can’t wait to start making the clothes!
Aren’t they cute? Can’t you just see how much fun Addie will have in a few years dressing these little things? She’ll probably be like her mom and dad and rather be out hunting and trapping instead of inside playing with dolls and bunnies. 🙁

I’ve been waiting for you to do the bunny! It’s so cute – I love it! I can’t wait to see more. I may have to make one myself. Boy, my To-Do list is getting long 🙁

Knit faster Sharon! 🙂

Now I’ve got to make a few of these precious bunnys!!! I love that you’ve got her head on a TP roll! Ingenuity is the mother of invention!
JudyL says
I started out with the head on a small glass but it was about to swallow him so I thought about a TP roll.

Cute, cute, cute bunny. My grand daughters are 10 & 4 (almost) 5 and do not play with dolls. I have lots of “I would like to do” but seeing yours make me want to add a bunny to the list.
Deb says
Love it! I hate to knit, and my grandson would not appreciate it, but oh it’s soooooo cute! Thanks for my morning reading, I’m never sure what will be posted. 🙂

You’ll need to make one with camouflage yarn!

I really liked your idea of red and white stockings with a green dress for Christmas and a blue dress for Independance Day and a red dress for Valentines day and ….

Judy ~ I love that little bunny! I can hardly wait to see the finished bunny & some clothes! My one daughter did not care for dolls & was really an outdoorsie type of kid but we wanted her to have opportunities & to make choices. She had a little stuffed bear my mom sewed clothes for & she had so much fun dressing – changing her clothes. My grandmother also crocheted clothes & afghans for the bear. I think she was about 2.5 yrs. old when she first got “bear”. It was nice that she enjoyed her “bear” especially on a rainy/bad weather day or sick day or just whenever she wanted. When she was older the bear rode in her trike than her bike basket. Oh, such memories!! I think you are just beginning to start some wonderful times!! Penny in S CA

Great job on the bunny head! Sometimes that’s the hardest part to get right!
Susan says
It’s adorable! Even little girls who like the outdoors and hunting have days that have to be spent inside. =) Besides, I think that she’s going to share some things with her grandma, too.
Amy (Waunaknit) says
She’s so cute! I can’t believe you have the head done already. How long did it take you?
Linda says
So cute…another thing that makes me think I should learn to knit (better). Probably not going to happen!

So cute Judy. Even grownups like bunnies, so if Addie doesn’t like it right now, she will treasure it later in life. Can’t wait to see the finished and dressed version.
Teresa in Music City says
Awwww …. that’s such an adorable bunny! Addie is one lucky little girl :*)

I’ve got that pattern. they are so cute and easy to make. Its a very well written pattern. The dresses pattern is good too. I cant wait until Julie does other animals. Cant quite come at the foxes, they are a pest in Aust. Another good rabbit and teddy pattern is from Mary Jane’s Tearoom.

I sent my first little bunny girl to a friends granddaughter in Thailand. Now have to knit 3 for my own granddaughters for stocking fillers.
