This little bunny has been calling me since I got the pattern several months ago. There was Camp Loopy and then the Fourth Quarter Challenge. This afternoon I started the final 78 row repeat on Guernsey Wrap. On Row 1 of that last repeat, I told myself . . stick with it! You can finish it by Wednesday. No new projects. You know how hard it is to pick something up once you put it down. By Row 3, I had already picked up the Little Cotton Rabbit pattern and read through part if it. By Row 5, I told myself . . just finish this row and you can start making a bunny. I finished Row 5. There are only 73 more rows to go. I will do it by the end of the week.
Then I grabbed all my Loopy Cakes and my rabbit yarn and began thinking about what color bunny I should make and what her dress would look like.
The rest of the evening will be spent working on a bunny head!
This could be a late night of knitting because I’m thinking I’m not going to want to put this project down!

aw heck, Judy, have fun ! Life is too short not to enjoy doing what you want to do.

I pretty much have fun with everything I do but I do enjoy finishing projects. I’ll get back to the Guernsey Wrap soon . . I hope.

Sometimes a girl has just got to do what a girl wants to do. LOL!! I agree with Kate. What colours did you decide on?

You’re making me want to find that pattern in my stash! I’m anxious to see how yours turns out.
Bev Austin says
So precious, perfect for a tiny little DGD for Christmas!

She’s still at the age where everything goes in her mouth (she’ll be about 16 months at Christmas) so I’m probably going to hold these til she’s 3 or 4 years old and will have fun changing their clothes.
Diane says
So can a fairly competent beginner knit these? I have several nieces that might love them.
Sandra says
I’ve got that pattern, and others by the same designer. They are very, very well written. Lots of photos and technique tips. You should be fine.

Those bunnies are absolutely adorable! I have a little girl who I hope to corrupt into quilting and crafts..but alas, she spends a lot of time outside helping her dad on the farm. He tells me she will be “well rounded”, I tell him that he’s ruining my little girl! Hopefully, Addie will like both!
Susan says
Once again, I’m smiling. I do things like that ALL the time! We’re just eclectic!

Oh I love the little bunnies. They are so cute. I have always loved dolls and stuffed animals. I have dolls all over my home. My hubby thinks I am in my second childhood, but that’s ok. Maybe my great grandchildren will love them. Addie will be so happy to receive the little bunny. Then you can make more for her little family. Keep up the god work.
