The plan was to begin this blog post saying that I’ll do better in October but I’m not even going to say it. I’m thinking it but somewhere between thinking it and doing it . . it just isn’t happening. Maybe I would be more accountable with a weekly To Do List! 🙁 This was my September list:
September Get It Done:
- Quilt Red, Blue, Yellow top – Done!
- Make Road to Brenham top – Close but not done.
- Quilt Chad’s Road to Llano top – Not done!
- Bind Chad’s Road to Llano top – Not done!
Getting nothing in the sewing room accomplished makes the October list easy!
October Get It Done:
- Bind Red, Blue, Yellow top.
- Make Road to Brenham top.
- Quilt Chad’s Road to Llano top.
- Bind Chad’s Road to Llano top.
The good news for others participating is that every one should have done better than I did!

But you did get the red, white and blue quilt done and
besides you did marvelously in the knitting department

Judy, you do a lot more than you give yourself credit for. Just look at the bounty from your garden as proof. Winter is the time for playing catch up with the quilting, and really enjoying all of the summer’s achievements.

It’s mostly Boots that’s reducing my quilting time. He’s just so wild in the sewing room.

It’s a bit hard to get lots of quilting done when you’re in the garden as much as you are. And, those little kitties can be very distracting, especially when they’re lying right in the middle of the project you’re working on! ;D

Thank you, Judy, for keeping us accountable to our goals – I find that it’s helping me stay focused, even if I don’t accomplish everything.
