This week I totally forgot on Monday and Wednesday to post the Dreambird progress report. I think most of us posted Dreambird in our On the Needles post this morning but if you don’t mind linking up here again, I’ll add this post to the sidebar.
From the looks of things, several of us are getting close to finishing Dreambird #1. Who will be making another one? Did you enjoy making this enough to make another one? I did.
Let’s plan on posting progress reports through next week. I’ll go ahead some time next week and post a “Finished” report and link that in the sidebar so you can add your links to that one when you finish.
Dreambird
This is the picture I took this morning. I had 14 feathers done and have the 15th finished and probably won’t get time to start the 16th tonight. I’m planning to make feathers til I run out of yarn, which I think should be around 20 feathers but I will keep going as long as I have the Noro yarn. How many feathers are you planning to make?

I have 8 feathers done and plan on making till I run out of yarn. And yes I plan on making another one. Going on quilt retreat Sat.- Thur. so no knitting for me this next week. Thank you for you time and I will send picture when I finish.

Krista, I too wish it was a little wider. Have not redrafted knitting before so went by pattern. Will try on my second one.

I do love the look of Dreambird and would probably make another at some point – but too many new patterns I want to try first. 🙂 Plus I need to see how “wearable” it really is – like can I wear it to work and not have it bug me when I’m reaching for stuff etc. And more importantly, can I find the right new blouse to order to go with it. LOL

All the ones I’ve seen are so beautiful! If I thought I could ever master knitting something plain, let alone something like this, I’d probably take lessons, but my mind doesn’t seem to grasp even the basics. You’ve done a wonderful job with this.
