Yesterday I began quilting the chevron top. It’s definitely not my favorite quilt ever made but it is going to work great in my guest room. It’s 88″ x 100″ and I was happy to get it quilted.

The colors are way off because I had to take the picture at night with the flash . . well, the truth is . . I took several pictures during the day but didn’t realize I had a memory stick in the camera that has made one trip too many through the washer and dryer so I went back and took another picture and it was dark and I had to use the flash.
As soon as I have a few minutes, I’m going to get all the good pictures off that memory stick and throw it in the trash and then I’m going to be real careful about not sticking those sticks in my pocket and washing them.
Maybe tomorrow I can get the binding done and it will be finished and on the bed! And maybe I can get a better picture!

Well, Judy, it may not be your favorite design, but those colors save the day. And if you’re going for a southwestern décor, that will be an awesome quilt. The binding always “finishes” it, as my husband quips, so I will look forward to seeing the finish. 🙂

I like it Judy. It will be beautiful on the bed. I usually have the opposite problem with the memory stick — forget to take it out of the computer, then discover when I’m taking pics the internal memory it full. Bummer. It’s always the used Kleenex that goes thru the washer.

Those memory cards are something else. I often go to take a picture and realize (when the camera tells me) that I have no card in the camera! Well, at least they’re a bit more durable than a roll of film. Great quilt, Judy.

You probably don’t love it because it doesn’t have pretty pieced borders. LOL. But I’m thinking it;s going to be the perfect finish for your guest room. I think it’s fabulous!
