This time last week, quilt had only a couple of rows of quilting that needed to be done. There wasn’t a doubt in my mind that it would be finished by the middle of the week at the latest. The quilting was done but the binding still isn’t done!
Today I will get the binding done. Monday, this quilt will be in the mail. I sure hate letting this one go but I know my friend will love it and I made it for her so . . off it goes to cheer her up.
Some day I may make a third one . . bigger . . so it will fit our bed. Not now though . . some day!

Your colors just make this quilt bounce. One of these day I would like to make this one. I know you have blogged about color but it still doesn’t soak in my thick skull. Thing I like least in quilting is picking out the fabric. Thank goodness for friends.
Enjoy your visit with your son and family.
I’ll be at a quilt RETREAT next week.

That quilt is certainly a beauty. I can understand it will be difficult to part with. But I’m sure your friend will appreciate and treasure it always!

I know I’ve said this before but here goes again! I love this quilt more each and every time you post a new picture of it’s progress! Your friend will just love and cherish it.

Love that KY blue, hint, hint. Any way I could be your friend and get one like it? I DO have MS, and that would be so nice to cuddle up under when I’m having a really bad attack and can’t do anything but lie around wishing my exploding head would just do it and get it over with. Reality check here, it really is a beautiful quilt, and the colors are so beautiful together.

I really love the pattern…. trying to think of other color combinations and how many possibilities.

Gorgeous! I did print out the instructions, hoping to get to it, but too many quilts came in for quilting and, since that means a paycheck for me, I didn’t get to start. Maybe next month, but then the Road to Brenham will be up, and I like that one too!
