The home of the free and the brave. If you have children or grandchildren at home, please ask them what “Independence Day” means to them. Please make sure your children and grandchildren understand the meaning of this holiday.
As we all eat our BBQ, eat watermelon, watch fireworks, let’s please remind our future leaders about the importance of our independence and freedom!

Happy 4th to you and your family Judy! As years go by the true meanings of most of these holidays are getting lost and I fear that our future generations will not appreciate them for what they actually stand for.

Have a safe 4th, Judy. Are you venturing off of the range, today, or just tuckin’ in and sewing/knitting? (Or, chasing chicks? LOL)
An added reminder: “LAND OF THE FREE–BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE.”
Susan says
Amen and amen. Hope you have a great day! Mine is wet. =)
Carole says
Amen, sister, AMEN! Happy Independence Day to you and Vince.

Are you singing Judy? Happy Independence Day to you also. My mom (93 years old) baby bro and I had a wienie roast with marshmallows following, and remenised about the good ole days when we were kids and had them all summer, using twigs from the willow tree to spear the hot dogs and marshmallows with. Fun, fun, fun.
