Here are some of my “EQ Doodles” to give you an idea of how the Road to Brenham quilt would look in various colorways.
First off . . any purple and gold fans out there? 🙂

Thanks, Judy. This really helps me visualize the potential. I love a couple of these. Decisions, decisions.

I love how easy it is to change colors in EQ7 with the swap tool. I suspect you made good use of that when showing other color options for this quilt.

Ah, Judy. I love them all. Purple and gold are beautiful, but I have a granddaughter who would grab that one from me before I had it completely finished. Green is my color, but the apartment has blue carpet. I’ve sworn off teal after wearing it for so many years at Hospice, although in the quilt it’s beautiful, Love the bright orangy/red one, and I think that one could add some color to this otherwise drab apartment, especially since Anika’s second favorite color is pink. But, when I finally get to Hancock Fabrics I might walk out with completely different colors altogether. I do tend to go wild there. That’s why I try to stay away, while I don’t have a similar problem at Jo-Anns.

All of these are great! I especially love the green and red. It reminds me of Norwegian Christmas decor.

I love seeing it in different colors. Thanks for going to that extra work.

My first professional library job was in Brenham! It was a wonderful place to live and work. Those were formative years for me, personally and professionally.

Ooooh, the red shouted Christmas, the green, cozy, and the pink, white & black with just a little green, pops wow! I too love seeing the alternate colorways, thank you.

Judy, I apologize if you answered this, but what are the final dimensions of the quilt? Thanks so much for sharing with us. 🙂 Enjoy the new kitten!
