Notice I said Wingspan #1 because there will definitely be more than one.
The yarn worked out ok. I wish I knew what it was but I don’t have a clue. I can see this with black pants and a tan or olive-ish sweater.
It really is such a simple pattern and so fun if you have a fun yarn. I’m going to look through the stash and see if I have anything else that looks like a long striping yarn. I may be getting the hang of using stash yarn and if it turns into as much fun as using fabric from the stash, maybe I can seriously cut back on my yarn buying!

That long striping yarn worked out great! It emphasizes the structure of the piece.
Too many knitting comments…must..resist…

I really like that! There is lots of time for another one before the first of July!

It’s beautiful Judy. I guess I’ll have to get the pattern and start using up my yarn stash so I can make room for a fabric stash. Or even better, make room to hang up my clothes. Nah! Fabric stash. And I might have to buy some new yarn for the Wingspan. Maybe. Possibly. OK, definitely. But after that, no more. Ever. Until the next time.

Love your Wingspan. I’m working on one and have 6 wings done. I’m using sock yarn from my stash.Your wings look much larger than mine, disappointed in mine. Need to order yarn for the Dreambird. Little scared but I’m going to give it a try.

Your Wingspan looks fabulous, Judy! I looks like your yarn amount turned out just right? This pattern has been on my list for a while…..soon I hope, but right now I’m working on baby stuff. That deadline is getting closer!
