I don’t usually do laundry on weekends. This weekend may be different. There seems to be dirty clothes everywhere I look! Last night as I was walking into the house, I noticed this:
That’s the bucket that had potatoes in it but now it just has dirt and I need to take it back out to the garden and dump it.
As I was going in, I looked up and stuffed in one of the top sections of the post I saw this:
Looks like several days worth of dirty socks.
Something told me to look at the other post.
Don’t look, Ethel! If I had to guess, I’d say someone might be stripping down at the back door! If I had to guess about something else, I’d say he might need a gentle reminder that the laundry lady (me) doesn’t go looking all over the place for dirty clothes when it’s time to do laundry.
You now know why we don’t live in some fancy, smancy subdivision, don’t you?

Just put a hamper by the door! LOL!

I was about to say the same thing! Just put a hamper by the door! LOL!
If they’re like my hubby’s clothes, though, they’re probably too sweaty to put in a hamper…they need air or they’ll grow things! Yuck.

At least he takes them off before coming into the house. My hubby has to walk all way through house to get to bathroom.. He knows though if not in laundry they do not get washed. Oh, and I do not turn cloth. What every way they get thrown in laundry is the way they get washed.

forgot to mention, we live in country also. Wish he would take off on porch.

You can follow a trail of dirt all thru my house from where hubby has walked. He is like Pigpen. We live in town so he can’t strip before entering. This was such a funny post.

Uh huh. Looks like I’m not the only stripper 🙂

Mine would strip next to the washer, but wouldn’t throw the clothes IN the washer–on the floor beside it. That was only at night though. If he wated to lie down during the day he would tromp through the house, cruddy shoes and all, and throw himself across the bed with no thought at all about how long and painstakingly long I had worked on the quilt coveromg the bed. I finally stopped putting my good quilts out where they could be seen and stuck a uto;otu qio;t on top.

I think I had my fingers on the wrong keys. Or maybe my fingers are getting numb. The last line should read–I finally stopped putting my good quilts out where they could be seen and stuck a unility quilt on the top of the bed.

Maybe he thought with a good airing, they’d be ready to go again? LOL

I adore you and Vince Judy!

This is just too funny! I agree he must have thought it was nice of him to air outside.

If my hubby did this… they would be there as long as he left them there. He would be hunting clean clothea to wear. I’ll do the laundry but I won’t hunt them down either. Tell us Judy, did you pick them up or did he?
