It isn’t quilted but the piecing is done.
I’m going to load the top and get everything ready to start quilting but I’m not going to start quilting yet. I can’t send it to my friend til she gets back home and that’s going to be a couple of weeks at least. While all the piecing is fresh on my mind, I’m going to go ahead and finish the first Road to Llano top. All it needs is borders and I think, but I haven’t looked yet, that I already have the pieces made for the borders. Wouldn’t it be nice if by the Stash Report on Sunday, I can report yardage on two tops?

Wow, Judy! That is strikingly pretty. Your friend will be so lucky to get it, and I’m sure she will appreciate it too! Nicely done.

Judy, that is so beautiful. Could I be your friend so you will make a quilt for me? You know, I’ve made them for almost everyone I know, but no one has ever made anything but candy for me, and I’m diabetic and can’t eat the candy. Go figure!

It looks even better in quilt than it did in EQ. I really look forward to seeing the other one, though, since I love green so much. =)

I love it and so will your friend. If only I didn’t have to get ready for company, I would bd working on mine! In the meantime I will keep admiring yours!

I love the quilt! Do you use a particular brand of black? I’ve avoided black because I’m afraid the color would run.

Wow, that is simply beautiful!!!! And I’m sure the picture doesn’t do it justice. Your friend is very lucky, she will be wrapped up in love every time she uses it!!!!
