So many of you know me better than I know myself and so many of you guessed incorrectly! How did that happen? I had to go back and look at the yarns I had in my cart. I do love them all!
Cart
I think the majority of you chose either Topaz or Poseidon. The reason I didn’t choose either of those was because they look so much like things I’ve knitted recently. I have a blue Cream & Sugar Cowl and the 3S Shawl I’m working on now is blue. The Mountain Tango I like but was afraid it would be to tweedy or mixed up looking. I don’t want stripes but I also don’t want it to look real jumbled. I love the Spectrum but the colors are kinda bright.
I chose Spats! I love Lorna’s Laces yarn. I was thinking I could wear black pants, a white shirt and I have yarn to make an olive green cardigan so . . Spats it is.
Extras
A bit of Rowan DK jumped into my cart and I’m going to use that to make Coco’s Pearls. The Crazy Zauberball jumped into the cart just because I had such a hard time finding it and when I did, I figured I should buy a ball or two just so I wouldn’t have to search for it again. I really liked the Hitchhiker made using that yarn so I may some day make a second one.
Hopefully, I won’t find it necessary to order any more yarn til time for the Camp Loopy Project #3 in about a month.

Did I hear anyone say they weren’t buying anymore yarn except Camp Loopy projects this year or was that the wind blowing? (lol)

It was only the wind — she said not buying before the 3rd camp loopy project that needs to be shopped for the end of Next Month. ROFLOL

You know, after I left my comment, I thought, “I’ll bet she chose that last one. It’s different from everything else in the cart. It’s unusual. I’ll bet that was the one.” But I’d already made my choice and I stuck with it. =) I’ll be interested to see how it plays out.

Good choice. Since I have that yarn for the same pattern, I look forward to seeing yours. Before I knit mine I have to finish the Hitchhiker I already have on the needles.

The Coco’s Pearls pattern is very pretty. I used the Crazy Zauberball for my Spectra scarf which turned out gorgeous and also in my Rockefeller (which no is not finished).

Well, I’ve beeen wrong once before in my life. The spats is a pretty yarn, but for some reason I thought you put the mountain tango in the middle for a reason. I love the other 2 also, and there’s no such thing as too much yarn. I heard something once about the person who dies with the biggest stash wins. Don’t suppose you would put me in your will for your stash of fabric and yarn would you?

LOL – I was wrong! Of course, I thought that Poseidon was very much like most of the yarn I already have. I like Spats – reminds me of a calico cat I once had. ;D
