Vince has been home for a couple of days and we still have the weekend. The chickens don’t get to run around loose when Vince is home because he leaves the roll up doors open on the shop when he’s here and when the roll up doors are open, the chickens go inside and explore. We’ve found eggs inside boxes. We’ve found chickens upstairs! So, when he’s home and the shop doors are open, the chickens are in the pen and they don’t like it one bit!
If they can see me, they’re following around on the inside of the pen, begging me to let them out. Sorry girls . . he’s the boss and he’s home and we have to do what he says! Even the queen . . Miss Hattie . . has to stay inside the pen.
I’m guessing I’m not the only girl around here who’s looking forward to Monday! 🙂

Maybe since they can’t be out eating grasshoppers, Vince should be catching them for his gals. He might actually decide it is easier to keep some doors closed!!!!

I don’t blame Vince … but I don’t blame all the chickens looking forward to Monday, either!

Why can’t Vice–I mean Vince–knock off early one day and close the doors so the chickens can come out? Sunday is Father’s Day so perhaps you can convince him not to open those doors at all that day. The chickens will start pecking each other in frustration next.

Oh my, they look just like they’re in a police lineup, waiting for someone to tell them to turn to the right, now the left, and put your right foot in, put your right foot out, put your right foot in and shake it all about. Oops, that’s the Hokey Pokey. I got a little carried away thinking of those poor caged chickens stuck in the pokey until Monday. That picture should be blown up extremely large and put right in front of Vince so he would take pity on them.

ROFL – you know, I never thought I’d feel sorry for chickens. But I feel sorry for those girls! Too stinkin’ cute.
